hotel room was the dirtiest that I've ever stayed in, dont think they even clean the room after guest check out except for changing bed sheets may be. Room window was facing main street, no sound proof at all. Be prepared for a very very basic room. Better hotel choices elsewhere.
A space of only 300 words is not nearly enough to entail all of the things we were dissatisfied with, but I will do my best to sum them up. The Central hotel, while centrally located, is in a dank, ghetto neighborhood whose inhabitants are frightening, loud and trashy. The streets are dirty and repugnant (much like the entire town of Paris) and we were extremely scared to be out past dark. Upon arriving the desk attendant was abrasive, unkempt and unprofessional. Our room was equipped with no phone, a broken light, a broken plug-in, a dirty shower and a cockroach. We also thought that it was strange that during the day when we left the hotel we had to leave our key at the front desk. Then when we returned we simply told the receptionist our room number and were given the key, without an id check, last name verification, or clearance of any kind. Had we desired we could have said any room number, gotten the key and ransacked the room. For that matter, anyone off the street could've obtained our key, gone through our room and taken what they please. On our last day in Paris we had to catch a train and so we had asked the receptionist to call a taxi to take us and our luggage to the train station. He aquiesced and hung up. 5 minutes later we arrive in the lobby to find that no taxi was coming. The desk clerk told us that there were 'no more taxis' and that we must walk. We were to believe that there were no taxis left in the entire town of Paris, pretty incredulous. Upon exiting the lobby, however, we met a group of 3 women (French women, I will add) who were waiting on the curb, luggage in hand, for a taxis which the front desk had called. Not only was this trip to Paris our first and last ever, but, sadly, we will never recommend in any positive form or phrase the Central Hotel, the town of Paris or the French in general.
Nothing. Horrable hotel.
Everything and bugs arounde
Good bed and great location right next to metro Chateau d'Eau
Shower wasn't fixed to wall. Receptionist was unsure of himself in the morning
Only the situation of this hotel near the railway station and the center. But the price is expensive for this kind of hotel. Very low class.
Location. It's 20 meters from a Metro Station and 7 minutes from the Eiffel Tower (by Metro).
They charged me more money (due to local taxes) than the fare specified by Booked.net.
location was central.
Didn't look very safe, didn't feel very safe, very noisy. Hotel situated on the corner of a busy street. Very helpful staff.
1) poor quality; 2) reservations got messed up; we reserved 2 rooms for 1 night but they thought it was 1 room for 2 nights.
room was big, hotel is close to metro and not far from center, there's elevator
it was rather cold in our room and the shower was broken
Only reason why I took it was a good position near to the line rer B.
The hotel is announced with 3 stars but I would not give a single one because: the towels in the bathroom were with the hairs of the others tourists, the soap was stinking the sheep fur, the room doors was blocked and I could not go out, in that moment all the first floor was in the renovation.
The front desk staff was helpful and not overbearing.
very small room.broken shower.dirty used towels.very small lift that a fat man never fit into. Finally extremely noisy street.
It was a nightmare there, I can not even call that a hostel, I donot know how they name themselves Hotel, rooms r in very bad conditions, very dirty, very sad and gray place to stay.
near the station.
Employees could and did not understand non-native's accentive English. The owner said French in spire of foreiner(we said to him that we can't speak it!!). we would like to tell him something, we need someone who can speak English and native French speaker. Moreover, our room's shower was leaking, towels had someone's hairs, and the bathroom was not cleanly. I never reccomend there except near the station, but I thought the station's arround wasn't secure place.
